Hi, I'm Julie

I've been photographing things off and on since somebody handed me a camera around the age of eight, and I never really stopped. These days it's families, seniors, couples and maternity sessions around Dayton, plus a lot of wandering around Ohio taking pictures of fields and fog when nobody's asked me to.

I'm a mom. I have a dog and a cat, I read too many mystery novels, and I have never once turned down chocolate.

What I care about in this work is pretty simple. You'll get the posed portrait you came for — but even in the middle of posing, it's usually the split-second, unguarded moment right before or after that ends up being the one you love most. That's what I enjoy capturing for you.
