Hi, I'm Julie

I've been photographing things off and on since somebody handed me a camera around the age of eight, and I never really stopped. These days it's families, seniors, couples and maternity sessions around Dayton, plus a lot of wandering around Ohio taking pictures of fields and fog when nobody's asked me to.

I'm a mom. I have a dog and a cat, I read too many mystery novels, and I have never once turned down chocolate.

What I care about in this work is pretty simple. Most of the photographs that end up mattering to people aren't the perfect ones — they're the ones that caught somebody being exactly who they were that year. That's what I'm trying to get for you.
